Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

Accessing and using Makineo (makineo.es) constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these terms of use, the Legal Notice, the Privacy Policy, and the Content Policy.

If you do not agree with any of these terms, you must leave the site and refrain from creating an account.

Makineo is a personal project in beta phase operated by Santiago Fernández Seoane. The service is provided on an "as is" basis, with no guarantee of continuous availability. For limitations of liability, see the Legal Notice.

2. Description of the service

Makineo is an information and community platform focused on the electronic music scene in Spain. Its features include:

• — Discovery and search of electronic music events
• — Profiles of artists, venues, and promoters
• — A system for following artists and users
• — Event attendance confirmation and reviews
• — Private messaging and groups (Party Crews)
• — A social activity feed for your network

Makineo does not organize any event listed on the platform and, for now, does not sell tickets either: each event's ticket links lead to the website of the organizer or of the platform they use.

3. Tickets

Buying tickets on Makineo is not available yet. Each event's ticket links direct you to third parties (Eventbrite, Ticketmaster, the venue's website...); that purchase is a contract between you and that third party. See the Legal Notice for more detail.

4. Registration and user account

Access to advanced features requires creating an account. By registering, you:

• — Must be at least 18 years old
• — Must provide truthful and up-to-date information
• — Are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• — Are responsible for all activity carried out through your account
• — May not create fake accounts, impersonate other individuals, or use offensive usernames

The owner reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms.

5. User conduct and prohibited content

By using Makineo, you agree not to:

• — Post illegal, offensive, discriminatory, or violent content, or content that infringes the rights of third parties
• — Send spam, unsolicited advertising, or commercial content without authorization
• — Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• — Publish third parties' personal data without their consent
• — Attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the system
• — Use the platform for unlawful activities
• — Using automated systems abusively, or getting around access controls (see the Legal Notice, section 4)

6. User-generated content

By publishing content on Makineo (reviews, profile photos, comments, etc.), you represent that you hold the necessary rights to such content and grant Makineo a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display it on the platform for as long as your account remains active.

The owner is not responsible for content posted by users. If you find content that infringes rights or breaks these terms, report it with the «Report» button on the event, profile or review, or through the report form; you don't need an account. If you can't use the form, write to us at hola@makineo.es.

7. Event information

Information about events, artists, and venues on Makineo is obtained from public sources and may not always be complete or up to date. Makineo does not guarantee the accuracy of dates, prices, or locations, nor that any listed event will actually take place.

Always verify information directly with the organizer before purchasing tickets or traveling to an event.

7 bis. Where the listings come from

Not every listing is published by its own organiser. To keep the calendar complete, Makineo also collects event information from public sources: venue and promoter websites, cultural calendars and industry directories. We collect facts — who is playing, where, when and at what price — never the wording a third party used to tell it. When the source publishes it, we also show the event flyer, credited and linked to the source; if you hold its rights and don't want it shown, we remove it on request.

Every listing created this way states where it came from and links to the original page, and the full list of sources is published at Sources.

If you run a venue, a promoter or an artist project and would rather not appear, you can ask to be removed at any time. The Data Collection Policy explains the three ways — email, robots.txt and meta tag — and what each one does: removing a source stops the collection and also hides what was already published. You can also claim your event or venue listing and manage it yourself.

8. Service availability

Makineo is currently in beta phase. The service may experience interruptions, changes, or even discontinuation at any time without prior notice. The owner does not guarantee any minimum level of service availability at this stage.

9. Modification of these terms

The owner may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via notice on the platform. Continued use of Makineo after such notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts and tribunals of A Coruña, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.
