Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
Accessing and using Makineo (makineo.es) constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these terms of use, the Legal Notice, the Privacy Policy, and the Content Policy.
If you do not agree with any of these terms, you must leave the site and refrain from creating an account.
Makineo is a personal project in beta phase operated by Santiago Fernández Seoane. The service is provided on an "as is" basis, with no guarantee of continuous availability. For limitations of liability, see the Legal Notice.
2. Description of the service
Makineo is an information and community platform focused on the electronic music scene in Spain. Its features include:
- — Discovery and search of electronic music events
- — Profiles of artists, venues, and promoters
- — A system for following artists and users
- — Event attendance confirmation and reviews
- — Private messaging and groups (Party Crews)
- — A social activity feed for your network
- — Ticket sales for events that enable this feature, with payment through Stripe
For events that enable ticket sales, Makineo is not the one selling the ticket: the organizer is the one selling it, the charge appears under their name, and the responsibility toward you is theirs. Makineo acts as the technology and payment platform, charging a management fee shown separately from the price. Makineo does not organize any event listed on the platform.
3. Ticket purchases, payments, and refunds
Some events enable ticket sales directly on Makineo. When they do:
- — The event's organizer/promoter is the one selling the ticket: the charge appears under their name, and the responsibility toward you as the buyer is theirs, not Makineo's
- — Payment is processed through Stripe. You enter your card details directly on Stripe; Makineo never receives or stores them
- — The price is shown in two lines: the ticket amount (for the organizer) and Makineo's management fee, always visible before you pay
- — If the organizer cancels the event, you will be refunded the ticket amount. Makineo's management fee is non-refundable, unless the cancellation is due to a Makineo error
- — The refund is issued to your original payment method and may take several business days to appear, depending on your bank
You'll receive your ticket, with a QR code, by email and in your Makineo account as soon as payment is confirmed. That's what gets scanned at the door.
For events that don't enable sales on Makineo, ticket links direct you to third parties (Eventbrite, Ticketmaster, the venue's website...); that purchase is a contract between you and that third party. See the Legal Notice for more detail.

4. Registration and user account
Access to advanced features requires creating an account. By registering, you:
- — Must be at least 16 years old
- — Must provide truthful and up-to-date information
- — Are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- — Are responsible for all activity carried out through your account
- — May not create fake accounts, impersonate other individuals, or use offensive usernames
The owner reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms.
5. User conduct and prohibited content
By using Makineo, you agree not to:
- — Post illegal, offensive, discriminatory, or violent content, or content that infringes the rights of third parties
- — Send spam, unsolicited advertising, or commercial content without authorization
- — Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
- — Publish third parties' personal data without their consent
- — Attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the system
- — Use the platform for unlawful activities
- — Access the platform through automated systems (see the Legal Notice, section 4)
6. User-generated content
By publishing content on Makineo (reviews, profile photos, comments, etc.), you represent that you hold the necessary rights to such content and grant Makineo a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display it on the platform for as long as your account remains active.
The owner is not responsible for content posted by users. If you become aware of content that infringes rights or violates these terms, please contact us at [email protected].
7. Event information
Information about events, artists, and venues on Makineo is obtained from public sources and may not always be complete or up to date. Makineo does not guarantee the accuracy of dates, prices, or locations, nor that any listed event will actually take place.
Always verify information directly with the organizer before purchasing tickets or traveling to an event.
8. Service availability
Makineo is currently in beta phase. The service may experience interruptions, changes, or even discontinuation at any time without prior notice. The owner does not guarantee any minimum level of service availability at this stage.
9. Modification of these terms
The owner may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via notice on the platform. Continued use of Makineo after such notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts and tribunals of A Coruña, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.
