1. Identification of the site owner

In compliance with Article 10 of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), the following information is provided:

Makineo is a personal project in beta, run by its owner as a private individual: it is not incorporated as a company or any other legal entity. For now it does not sell tickets and the service is free.

2. Purpose and terms of use

Makineo is an information and community platform dedicated to the electronic music scene in Spain. It allows users to discover events, follow artists, connect with other users, and share experiences related to this culture.

Access to and use of this website implies full acceptance of this legal notice, the Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Use.

3. Intellectual and industrial property

The content of Makineo — including text, design, logo, source code, database, and trademark — is the property of Santiago Fernández Seoane or their respective authors or licensors, and is protected under Spanish and international intellectual and industrial property law.

MAKINEO is a word mark filed with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM) on 16 August 2026, application no. M4397815, in classes 35, 41 and 42 of the Nice Classification.

Any reproduction, distribution, public communication, or transformation, whether total or partial, of the content of this site is expressly prohibited without the prior express written authorization of the owner.

Information about events, artists and venues comes from public sources. If you hold the rights to any content — a text, a photo, an event flyer — and want us to change or remove it, ask through the report form or write to us at hola@makineo.es.

4. Automated access: moderate and respectful use

Makineo does not forbid automated access. Much of our calendar is collected from public third-party sources (section 4 bis), and forbidding others what we do ourselves does not hold up. We ask for exactly what we would want asked of us: moderate and respectful use.

By moderate and respectful use we mean access that meets the following:

• — Identify yourself with a recognisable user agent and a way to get in touch
• — Respect the robots.txt file and each page's no-index directives
• — Keep a request rate that does not degrade the service, and back off on a 429
• — Take facts — what is on, when and where —, not other people's text or photographs
• — Honour a removal request without asking for reasons

The following remains off limits, automated or not:

• — Reaching private or account-gated areas (profiles, messages, the management panel), or getting around access controls
• — Collecting personal data about registered people or building profiles from it: the GDPR forbids that, not just this notice
• — Using the internal API without prior written permission
• — Reproducing the whole catalogue to offer an equivalent service

Search engines and AI engines are welcome: robots.txt allows them explicitly and llms.txt describes the site for them. We want Makineo cited, and we want whoever asks about the scene to find the answer.

Where use degrades the service or breaks the above, we may limit or block access and, where appropriate, take the action available to us under Spanish intellectual property law (RDL 1/1996), the LSSI-CE (Law 34/2002) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

4 bis. How Makineo collects third-party information

The previous section asks for moderate and respectful use from whoever collects from us. It is only fair to say how we collect: part of the calendar comes from public third-party sources through our own automated processes, identified by a recognisable agent and respecting robots.txt, rate limits and any exclusion request. The same five conditions, applied to us.

What is collected are facts about events, not other people's text. With one exception to the fourth condition: when the source publishes it, we show the event flyer released by its organiser or by the source itself. We host it on our servers in order to serve it, always credited and linked to the original page, and we remove it at the rights holder's request through the report form. The rights over it and over any other third-party material remain with their owners. The full terms, the limits we respect and the ways to be removed are set out in the Data Collection Policy.

5. Limitation of liability

The owner does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or continuous updating of the information contained on the site. Makineo acts as an information and community platform, not as the organizer of the listed events.

The owner is not liable for any damages arising from use of the site, the information contained therein, or content generated by users of the platform.

6. Governing law and jurisdiction

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute arising from access to or use of the website, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of A Coruña, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may otherwise apply to them.
