For this edition, Gaspar & Elena will be joined by special guest Sama Yax, one of the most distinctive and charismatic selectors on the Spanish scene. Gaspar Antuña is much more than a DJ: music teacher, music journalist, label manager, programmer, producer and a restless soul of Madrid’s scene. Originally from Asturias and based in Madrid, he has been the booker and resident of the legendary Café Berlín for over a decade. From there, his most acclaimed project was born: Gaspar & Elena. In Papaia Club, Gaspar and Elena —partners in life and on stage— pour their love for music and dancing into every set, breaking genre and style barriers with eclecticism as their trademark. Their nights are a space of freedom and connection, where the crowd becomes part of something truly special. Joining them is Sama Yax, a Bilbao-based DJ born in Mexico whose relationship with music goes far beyond the booth. Her sets are celebrations of discovery, effortlessly moving between disco, house, soul, jazz, Brazilian sounds and Latin rhythms. She sees house music as underground resistance and disco as one of the most powerful and transformative musical languages.
