RUSF Series: Roxanne Harris (live coding) + Xiwire (live coding)

The fourth concert of the RUSF Series opens a window onto music generated live through code, where the algorithm becomes both instrument and improvisation. Roxanne Harris will unfold a live coding performance in which sound emerges directly from lines of code written in real time. The creative process becomes visible as it happens, turning the stage into a space of experimentation where error, algorithmic transparency, and digital intuition guide the music. XIWIRE, also drawing from the energy of live coding and their own programmed synthesizers, will build a landscape of hard rhythms, abrasive textures, and luminous arpeggios. Their live set connects rave culture, the internet underground, and noise, in a constant tension between chaos and structure.
